Beijing, the capital of China, is an ancient capital with a history of more than 3,000 years. It has different titles in different dynasties, such as: Yandu, Youzhou, Beijing and so on. There are three must-see attractions:the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Great Wall.
1.The Forbidden City

The Forbidden City,which is known as the “Top Five Palaces in the World”. It covers an area of 720,000 square meters and has a building area of 150,000 square meters. It is currently the world’s most complete and largest wooden palace building complex. . The Imperial Palace is divided into the outer dynasty and inner court by the Qianqing Gate, the outer dynasty is south, and the inner court is north. When visiting the Forbidden City, in addition to learning about the scenes that often appear in Chinese costume dramas and movies, you can also enjoy millions of treasures. Friends who like chase court dramas must make a pilgrimage!
2.Tiananmen Square

In Tiananmen Square, the portrait and slogan of Chairman Mao is still hanging on the wall, and there are soldiers and police standing on the side. Although there are passengers from all over the world on the square, the whole square still emits a quiet atmosphere. If you come here early in the morning or in the evening, you will have the opportunity to see the flag-raising ceremony and military performances, and at night you can feel different scenery and an alternative solemn atmosphere. After visiting Tiananmen Square, you can go to the 4A-level Jingshan Park at the back door, and enjoy the magnificent view of the Forbidden City from a panoramic perspective.
3.The Great Wall

If you arrive in Beijing and haven’t boarded the Great Wall, one of the new seven wonders of the world, it will be as if you have never been to Beijing. There are three Great Walls in Beijing: Badaling, Mutianyu, and Simatai. Each section has different transportation, distance, scenery, and crowds of tourists. The closest and also the earliest open section of the Great Wall in Beijing is the Badaling Great Wall; Mutianyu Great Wall is located in a remote area with few visitors; the Simatai Great Wall, with its steep terrain, dangerous, dense, strange, clever, and all five characteristics, is also the best of the three Great Wall scenery.
